The Google Fitbit Edge is a next-generation fitness tracker designed for people who want more health and workout information than a basic fitness band provides, without purchasing a full-featured smartwatch.
It combines Fitbit’s health-tracking experience with Google’s connected services and personalized coaching. The slim design, interchangeable bands, and glanceable display make it suitable for everyday activities, workouts, and sleep tracking.
The standard model starts at $179.99 in the United States. A Stephen Curry Special Edition is also available for $219.99. These are launch prices, not confirmed Black Friday prices.
Google Fitbit Edge Black Friday Deals 2026: Expected Offers
Black Friday promotions may provide an opportunity to save on the Fitbit Edge, particularly as retailers compete for customers during the holiday shopping season. However, specific Black Friday discounts have not been confirmed.
Here are five types of offers worth checking.
1. Direct Price Discounts
A straightforward price reduction is one of the easiest ways to save. Compare the Black Friday price with the regular selling price of the same color and configuration. Because the Fitbit Edge is a newly launched product, discounts may differ from those available on older fitness trackers.

2. Google Store Promotions
Check the official Google Store for seasonal discounts, trade-in offers, and eligible purchase benefits. Google’s launch offer includes three months of Google Health Premium with a qualifying Fitbit Edge purchase. Check the current terms to determine whether the trial is still available.
3. Retailer Offers
Retailers such as Best Buy and Target list Google Fitbit products and may offer their own promotions. Compare the final price, delivery costs, stock availability, and return policies before purchasing.
4. Bank and Payment Discounts
Some sellers may provide eligible card discounts, coupon codes, or installment payment options. Review the conditions carefully to make sure the offer applies to the Fitbit Edge.
5. Special Edition Deals
The Stephen Curry Special Edition has a distinctive color scheme and a higher launch price than the standard tracker. If you prefer this version, compare its price with the standard model and decide whether the special design justifies the difference.
These are potential savings opportunities, not guaranteed Black Friday offers.
Key Features of Google Fitbit Edge
Bright OLED Display
The Fitbit Edge features a Hybrid OLED display designed to make fitness statistics and health information easy to read. Google says it provides 46% more viewing area than previous Fitbit trackers.
You can view workout information, daily activity, and selected health metrics directly on your wrist. A physical side button provides convenient control during exercise.

Built-In GPS
Built-in GPS allows you to record outdoor routes without carrying your phone during every workout. It can track activities such as running, walking, and cycling while recording relevant information, including distance and pace.
An integrated altimeter also helps measure elevation changes during outdoor exercise.
Advanced Health Monitoring
The Fitbit Edge tracks several health and wellness measurements, including heart rate, sleep patterns, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, and skin temperature variation.
It also includes an ECG feature for supported heart-rhythm assessments. Availability of specific health features may depend on location and regulatory approval. These tools are intended to support wellness awareness and are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
Google Health Coach
One of the product’s key attractions is its integration with Google Health Coach. With an eligible Google Health Premium membership, users can receive personalized workout suggestions, coaching guidance, and insights based on their activity and recovery patterns.
The coaching experience is designed to help users establish routines and work toward fitness goals. Some advanced features require a paid membership after the included trial ends.
Up to Seven Days of Battery Life
Google rates the Fitbit Edge for up to seven days of battery life under specified conditions. Its magnetic fast-charging system can provide approximately one day of use from a five-minute charge when conditions are suitable.
Actual battery life depends on display settings, GPS usage, notifications, and other features.
Water Resistance and Interchangeable Bands
The Fitbit Edge is designed with 5 ATM water resistance, although it is not completely waterproof and its protection can diminish over time.
It is available in four standard color combinations: Obsidian, Fog, Olive, and Canyon. Interchangeable bands let users personalize the tracker for exercise, work, and everyday wear.
Google Fitbit Edge Price: What Could You Save?
The standard Google Fitbit Edge launched at $179.99 in the United States. The Stephen Curry Special Edition starts at $219.99.

At launch, Google also included three months of Google Health Premium with qualifying purchases. When evaluating Black Friday deals, consider the total value of the device, any included subscription, and the price of accessories you might need.
For shoppers in India, the official U.S. launch price should not be treated as an Indian retail price. Local availability and pricing may differ, and an official India launch price has not been confirmed in the referenced launch information.
Check reputable retailers for current listings, warranty arrangements, shipping costs, and applicable taxes. Avoid assuming that a third-party imported listing carries the same support or return conditions as an officially supported purchase.
Tips for Finding the Best Black Friday Deal
Use these practical tips before buying:
- Track prices early: Record the regular price so you can identify a genuine discount.
- Compare retailers: Check the Google Store and reputable retail partners.
- Check subscription terms: Find out when the Google Health Premium trial ends and what renewal costs apply.
- Choose the right color: Compare the standard finishes and the Stephen Curry Special Edition.
- Review compatibility: The tracker supports most Android phones running Android 11 or later and iPhones running iOS 16.4 or later.
- Check the warranty: Confirm the seller’s support and return policy.
- Calculate the final cost: Include shipping, taxes, accessories, and payment fees.
Is Google Fitbit Edge Worth Buying on Black Friday?
The Fitbit Edge may be a good choice for people who want a compact fitness tracker with a useful display, built-in GPS, advanced health measurements, and personalized coaching.
It occupies a middle ground between a simple fitness band and a more comprehensive smartwatch. It is particularly appealing to users who prioritize health tracking and exercise guidance over a large collection of apps.
However, consider whether you need the premium coaching features and whether you are comfortable with a subscription after the trial. If you only want basic step counting and sleep tracking, a less expensive tracker may meet your needs.
